The company opens carpets and rugs for sale as soon as those are shipped from the country of origin. This merchandise is sold while the shipment is still in the ocean travelling to the destination, thus saving huge storage costs.
The system is developed in PHP for client- and server-side programming with the database in a high-end RDBMS server — MySQL.
